WHAT IS YOUR OCCUPATION?   Brand Manager, Alouette Cheese

 

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY.  I've been married to my husband, Bill, for 25 years and we have 2 children, Alexandra, 21 and Christopher, 15. Bill is a registered Landscape Architect who works on multi-million dollar residential properties.  Alexandra is a hairdresser.  We live in Lancaster County deep in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country and love the peace and quiet out here.  We're centrally located between NYC, Phila, DC, and Baltimore when we need some excitement.

 

I still travel to France fairly often and have used French in all my professional positions.

 

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE IN THE YEARS SINCE HIGH SCHOOL?  Graduated from Montclair State University with a B.A. in French.  Obtained a Masters in Linguistics from the University of Grenoble.  Have held positions in international banking, specialty chemicals, owned an import business and have worked as a marketing Brand Manager for Alouette® cheese since 1995.

 

Still enjoy travel, gourmet cooking, interior design, foreign languages, gardening and sewing.

 

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE HIGH SCHOOL MEMORIES? The clubs I joined:  French Club, Yearbook, and Sino American Club.

 

The friendships I had and realizing now who the really good teachers were and the insight they gave me.

 

WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE PLANS?  We plan to stay in Pennsylvania at least until our son finishes high school.  Then think of retirement.   Working for an international corporation also allows me an opportunity to find work abroad within the same worldwide corporation so who knows.

 

WILL YOU ATTEND THE 35TH REUNION?  Yes
